Question: do you add honey to your leaven?

No honey. My starter is now about a year old, and was originally created using ground up organic grapes, flour and water. I now maintain it with feedings of 100% dark rye flour and water. I don't add any type of sweetener to my leaven or to my regular loaves. Hope this helps!
