I used to make compound butter alllll the time. Such an easy yet impactful spread. All you need is butter and all the herbs in the fridge! Finely chopped cilantro, parsley, basil, chives, onion powder and garlic powder are a few of my favs. Let your butter warm to room temperature (I use Kerrygold) and try using as many fresh herbs as possible. I use my compound butter to lather up my chicken before I roast it or just on a slice of crusty french bread.
