Feeling inspired by my friend Tanya and her inventive jam making + leftover liquid from draining macerated apples and rhubarb for a non-soggy pie = Sicilian Strawbub jam.

About a cup of raw syrup of apple/rhubarb/lemon juice with a handful of chopped fresh strawberries, a peeled and diced Granny Smith apple, reduced into jam with a dash of Sicilian lemon balsamic vinegar at the end.
