Perfect hard "cooked" eggs. Add 1 inch of water to an 8 quart stock pot. Cover and bring to a boil. Place 12 eggs in a steamer basket and then place in pot. Cover and cook for 12 minutes. Remove eggs and place in an ice bath. Cool completely. Drain eggs. Tap on a dish towel to crack shells and then peel.
This method is foolproof. Eggs peel so easily and there will be no green ring around the yolk.
