Bagels! My first attempt at poppyseed and salt bagels. I learned that resting the dough does matter and makes it easier to shape them and "cooking them" in a baking soda bath for 2 minutes creates a yummy crust and tender interior. Next up, same dough but will make pretzels using a lye bath. Now onto making a dinner of bagels with cream cheese and smoked salmon.
