Chili oil condiment: Place 1 cup Asian chili flakes and t salt in heat proof jar. Gently heat 1 1/2 cup veg oil, 2 bay leafs, 2 t Sichuan peppercorns, 3 star anise, 1 cinnamon stick, t coriander seeds for half an hour. Cool 10 min. Strain oil into jar of chili flakes. Stir gently, steep and voila!
