A basket full of Bialys!
Mix bread flour, onion powder ,yeast, salt and water. Knead and let rest overnight in the fridge. Then shape into 12 balls, let rise for one hour. Meanwhile, make a filling of a medium onion, poppy seeds, salt and pepper.
Sauté the mixture in a little olive oil till onions are caramelized. Stretch the balls of dough to about 7 inches and make a well in the center, add a scant teaspoon of filling and bake about 10 minutes.
