Author Notes: Since ever I felt this unconditional love for beets, but you just look at this, how is it impossible not to if: it´s highly nutritious, have anti-aging effects, is an excellent source of folates. The root is also rich source of B-complex vitamins such as niacin (B-3), pantothenic acid (B-5), pyridoxine (B-6) and minerals such as iron, manganese, copper, and magnesium, potassium.

It´s also very delicious!

Serves 2

  • 1 Beet
  • 1 Banana
  • 500 milliliters Fresh orange juice
  • Juice of half of lemon
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grounded ginger root
  1. Blend until very smooth. Add water or icecubes if desired. Enjoy!
