Author Notes: What better way to show your homeland pride than by digging into a GoodBelly-style 4th of July smoothie? We whipped up a good-for-you frosty treat, bursting with probiotics and worthy of its own fireworks show.GoodBelly

Serves: 1

  • 1/4 cup Oats
  • 1/4 cup Milk of Choice
  • 1/2 tablespoon Chia Seeds
  • 1/2 Apple, Sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Honey (Optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Mixed Roasted Unsalted Nuts (Optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 Pinch Sea Salt
  • 1 Goodbelly StraightShot
  1. Combine oats, milk and chia seeds in a small bowl, cover and let soak in the refrigerator for 2 hours or overnight. When the oats are done, combine oat mixture, apple, banana, honey, nuts, spices and GoodBelly StraightShot in a powerful blender, and puree until smooth. Pour into a glass and top with extra nuts, a dash of cinnamon and a drizzle of honey, if desired.
