Author Notes: Thumbing through my instagram few days ago I found that there is so much summer salads with strawberries. I had only sweet cherry at that moment, but I was just like 'why not?'. I decided to use a turkey, feta cheese and other produce that I thought would be nice to combine. Salad turned out tasty and satisfying; sweet cherry with basil are making an awesome taste, and slices of lemon give a piquant note to it. And it's so beautiful. I really love the idea of intuitive cooking. —evsuvdo
Serves 2 to 4
- 400 grams turkey breast
- 300 grams sweet cherry
- 200 grams feta cheese
- 1/4 piece lemon
- 4 cups lettuce leaves
- 9 violet basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Cut turkey breast to small pieces and give relish to them. Use your favourite spices, seasoning, black pepper. Grill on a grill or use a cast iron pan.
- Cut lemon to little slices, crumble feta, get the bonelets from sweet cherry (I cut them in a half).
- Put your favorite lettuce at first, then grilled turkey, and chia seeds. Neatly mix everything. Top with crumbled feta cheese, sweet cherry, lemon slices, and basil. Dress with olive oil. Enjoy!
