Bartlett pear, sliced with skin on
frozen banana, sliced
teaspoon fresh ginger root, peeled and grated
teaspoon ground cinnamon
tablespoons plain yogurt
cup old fashioned rolled oats
- Puree all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serve immediately. Or, for a thicker smoothie, place covered in the fridge for an hour to allow the oats to soak up the liquid.
