Author Notes: We've combined four of our favorite fruits for this smoothie - and it's a yummy one! The flavors are bright and sweet, and it's full of fruity goodness. As far as nutrition goes, this smoothie offers up a bundle of antioxidants from vitamin C-rich oranges and strawberries, to potassium-loaded bananas, and anthrocyanin-packed blueberries. And don't forget all the vitamin K and iron in the spinach. —Simple Green Smoothies
- 2 cups spinach, fresh
- 2 oranges, peeled and seeded
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1 cup blueberries
- 2 bananas
- Blend spinach, orange juice and water until smooth.
- Next add the remaining fruits and blend again.
