Classic Beef Tacos

  • 200 grams ground beef
  • 0.5 finely chopped onion
  • 1 finely chopped bell pepper
  • 1 glove of minced garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoons chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 cup vegetable stock
  • 80 grams tin of tomato puree
  • 250 grams tin tomato puree
  • 250 grams can of kidney beans
  • 6 hardshell tacos

  1. Heat a pan over medium to high heat
  2. Add the ground beef to the pan and use a wooden spatula to move the meat around in the pan until it is brown
  3. Add the bell pepper and stir through the meat
  4. Then add the onion and garlic. Stir until soft
  5. Sprinkle the chili powder on the meat mixed and stir before adding the cumin
  6. Now add the tomato puree
  7. Keep stirring while you add the vegetable stock
  8. Lastly add the kidney beans to the mixture and let it simmer for at least 30 minutes to 60 minutes
  9. Warm crunchy corn tacos #346 and divide the beef mixture over the taco shell
