- 2 small tomatoes grated
- 4 to 6 tbsps oil
- 1 tamarind soaked in a little water
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp coriander powder
- 6 to 8 slices of unsweetened white bread
- Salt to taste
- 1 big bunch of coriander leaves
- ½ bunch Fenugreek
- 1 medium sized onion
- 8 to 10 cloves of garlic
- 1 inch piece ginger
- 2 green chillies
- 1. In a heated pan, add in oil, garlic, ginger, green chillies, onions and mix well.
- 2. Add in methi leaves and coriander and mix again.
- 3. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and saute.
- 4. Put in tomatoes, mix and let it cook.
- 5. Make it into a fine paste with the help of a hand blender.
- 6. Pour in tamarind water along with salt.
- 7. Put in the bread, mix and cook.
- 8. Garnish and serve.
