So, after 3 catastrophic failures and bungling attempts at making a butterscotch pudding with a little something extra, I gave up my quest. I don't really even care that much for butterscotch to begin with, but it's kind of autumn-y in flavor, so I thought I'd have a go at it and expand my horizons. Watching 3 batches of pudding $lide down the drain and into obscurity inspired the following. I had to do something with the schnapps, right? Oh, and as for butterscotch, suffice it to say, we've made our peace. Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving!! —TiggyBee

  • Makes 1 drink
  • 1 ounce butterscotch schnapps
  • 1 ounce vodka
  • 1 ounce Bailey's
  • whipped cream (optional)
In This Recipe
  1. Chill everything over ice separately, then pour the butterscotch schnapps in a 3 ounce shot glass, followed by the vodka and top it off with the Bailey's.
  2. Note: The picture is actually honey on the bottom to illustrate the colors of the drink. It seems that it's hard to photograph butterscotch schnapps, but the actual drink did layer like that somewhat similarly.
