Superfood Chocolate Bark S'mores with Plant-Based Protein

Get ready to cuddle up by the fire with these tasty protein-powered s'mores elevated with superfoods like cacao and kale. Who knew sneaking both protein and greens into s'mores could not only be possible, but taste delicious too?! Simply add a scoop of Amazing Grass Protein & Kale (who sources the greens from its family farm, no less) to enhance both the nutrition and taste of this summertime campfire favorite. —Contributor

  • 1 cup Coconut Oil
  • 2 scoops Amazing Grass Smooth Chocolate Protein & Kale
  • 1/4 cup Cacao Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup or Agave Nectar
  • 1/4 cup Almond Butter
  • Graham Crackers
  • Marshmallows (like Dandies Vegan Marshmallows)
In This Recipe
  1. Melt coconut oil in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove heat and add Amazing Grass Smooth Chocolate Protein & Kale, cacao powder, maple syrup and almond butter, whisking until smooth.
  2. Pour the superfood chocolate mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and evenly spread the mixture until it's about 1/4-inch thick. Place in the freezer until frozen solid (about 30 minutes).
  3. Use a kitchen knife to cut the superfood chocolate bark into squares that will fit on top of a graham cracker square, and keep chocolate bark in the freezer until ready to make s'mores.
  4. To assemble, roast marshmallows over the fire until golden brown. Sandwich 1 square of superfood chocolate bark onto a graham cracker with marshmallows...and chow down!
