Author Notes: This tasty chocolate smoothie is the perfect way to begin your day with a treat while getting your daily dose of antioxidants, omega-3’s and probiotics. If you’re not a coffee drinker or are looking to kick your caffeine “addiction” this smoothie is a great way to consume foods that give you the energy and focus to take any day by storm. The mix of cardamom and cinnamon lend a fresh aroma and delicious taste that compliments the other ingredients. So bust out your blenders and get to mixing up this glass of fresh air!Rose Cormier

  • 2 tablespoons hazelnut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon carob powder
  • 1 teaspoon maca powder
  • 1 teaspoon PRANA Proactivchia whole chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Seeds for 1 cardamom pod

  1. Mix all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth. Enjoy chilled.
  2. If you use a fresh banana and blueberries instead of frozen, try adding some ice in the blender for a refreshing smoothie.
