Tons of semi- sweet chocolate chunks melted throughout a light and fluffy vanilla pound cake with sour cream mixed into the batter for that moist and tender crumb! —Three Hungry Bellies

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 10 ounces chocolate chunks
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare your loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper and greasing it.
  2. In a standing mixer beat together the butter, sugar, and orange zest on medium speed until light and fluffy,
  3. Next add in your eggs one at a time until each egg in fully incorporated.
  4. Then add in the vanilla and sour cream. Beat until well combined.
  5. Add in the flour, baking soda, and baking powder and mix on medium low speed until most of the flour has been absorbed.
  6. Lastly, add in the chocolate chunk and mix on low until everything is combined.
  7. Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan and bake until the top is golden brown and the center comes out with moist crumbs. This will take about 45 - 50 minutes.
