Protein Packed Smoothie Bowls

Author Notes: Summer will be here before you know it and there’s no better time to enjoy creamy sweet smoothie bowls! If you’re looking for a nutrient dense, protein packed option, check out this super simple, super delicious recipe to fuel you before the gym, pool days and whatever else the summer has in store for you. We topped ours with fresh fruit, crunchy granola, chia seeds and a protein bar to be extra filling. Ingredients

Smoothie Bowl

  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 sliced and frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup preferred plant-milk or coconut water

Toppings

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup granola
  • 1 PROBAR Coconut Cashew live bar
  • 1 handful mixed berries

Directions

  1. Add frozen berries, banana and preferred liquid to blender and blend until mixture maintains a soft serve-like consistency
  2. Pour or scoop into bowls and add protein bar pieces, mixed berries, chia seeds and granola.
  3. Enjoy!
