Red, White, and Blue Hot Dogs

Why just serve your potato salad on the side when it’s so much more fun to pile it high! These red, white, and blue hot dogs are sure to be the star of your 4th of July barbecue. —Contributor

  • Prep time 20 minutes
  • Cook time 5 minutes
  • Serves 5
  • 1 pound blue potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons minced chives
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package Tofurky Jumbo Hot Dogs
  • 5 vegan hot dog buns
  • 4 red radishes, thinly sliced
In This Recipe
  1. In a medium saucepan, cover potatoes with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer until potatoes are tender, about 12-15 minutes. Drain, let cool, then slice in half or quarters.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss potatoes, lemon juice, oil, chives, garlic, and salt.
  3. Brush hot dogs with oil and grill over a hot grill fire or on a grill pan until browned.
  4. Serve in buns topped with potato salad and radishes. Enjoy!
