Back in 1950s France, Véronique Michel-Dalès started to create and sell educational games that became hugely successful. She named her company Djeco as a reference to the gecko, a playful and lucky lizard. Today, Djeco creates colorful toys that encourage creativity and an appreciation for art and design. Their products have been translated and sent to over 60 countries—and you’ll also even them in shops at the Tate Modern, MoMA, and the Louvre.
