The idea for DoubleKick came about during a typical lunch hour of a typical day at the office. Founder Ben Meyer needed a pick-me-up, but didn't want a soda, energy drink, or coffee. He thought about how he could get a little jolt along with his lunch, and since hot sauce was a favorite of his, the choice was obvious.
