A tangy, sweet sauce.

Fat Toad Farm's unique goat's milk caramel sauces combine rich, sweet caramel with the subtle tang of goat's milk for a creamy, not-too-sweet dessert sauce unlike anything we've tasted. We love it with ice cream, fruit, and cheeses -- and to be honest, straight from the jar. This silky caramel is actually a traditionally Mexican preparation called cajeta, and Fat Toad Farm makes our favorite version.

The set includes one jar of original caramel sauce and one jar of vanilla bean caramel sauce. Each jar is housed in a hand-stamped burlap gift bag tied with a wooden spoon (for expedited eating, of course).

Meet the Maker

Fat Toad Farm

Brookfield, VT
Husband and wife team Steve Reid and Judith Irving have spent the last seven years building a high-quality herd of Alpine milking goats and perfecting the art of caramel making. From 54 goats, they make their goat's milk caramel (also called Cajeta) -- they're one of the very first producers of artisanal Cajeta in the United States. It's a small-batch, family-run operation, and every jar is made with care.
