Everyday Steak Knives (Set of 4)

We designed the ultimate knife.
When we wanted to create a better everyday steak knife, we turned to R. Murphy Knives for a solution -- they have over a century and a half of experience making some of America’s favorite knives -- and we’re thrilled to be collaborating with them on this design. We took inspiration from the sharp blade and sturdy handle of a classic hunting knife, softened the corners and refined the blade shape, and came up with our very own Everyday Steak Knife that excels in both form and function.
It features a gently curved, comfortable-to-grasp handle and a stainless steel, hand-ground blade. Boston Handyworks – a social enterprise whose mission is to empower and employ the homeless – created an original handmade wooden box (with a magnetic closure!) to complete the set. In design and make, this is a knife worthy of the finest cuts.

Details & Materials -
High carbon stainless steel blade, stabilized walnut handle, solid brass rivets
Care & Notes -
Hand washing recommended. Dishwasher agitation leads to dings and scrapes that will blunt the knife's edge. High heat causes wood handles to dry out and can lead to cracks.
Meet the Maker
Since the 1850s, generations of Murphy men have assured us that an overworked all-purpose chef’s knife just won’t cut it. Not when there are quality carbon steel knives out there for nearly every purpose. And we don’t even have to go abroad for these beauties: R. Murphy knives are made in Massachusetts.View Full Profile
