This Halloween, turn up the beet.

Forget about the same old drugstore candy -- make Halloween (and every day for that matter) better with these handmade caramels from small-batch candy maker Chocolate Twist. These buttery, rich caramels are soft but easy to bite into (and it's hard to find caramels with just the right texture).

You'll get three bright flavors: pumpkin spice, beet-pistachio-orange, and mulled cider. We love how much each candy really tastes like its flavor (because they use the real thing: roasted beets, apple cider, orange zest, and more, not imitation extracts).

Meet the Maker

Chocolate Twist

Riverside, IL
Chocolate Twist is the 2009 creation of Kate Coffey, Queen of the Twist, in 2009. As a child, Kate was captivated by her grandmothers’ ability to cook and bake while laughing, enjoying a little wine, and never breaking a sweat. Kate was hooked. And hungry. After receiving her Baking and Pastry Certificate and several years of work in the food and non-profit sectors, Kate turned to chocolate. Her culinary philosophy is simple. Make tasty food. Make it approachable. Make it fun. At the end of the day, do something good with it through partnership with charities. And always enjoy a little indulgence with chocolate.
