Not your average berries.

Morning toast and afternoon PB&Js get a boost from these small-batch jams made of two uncommon Oregon berries: marionberries and boysenberries. The texture of Plum Tree jam is fantastic - loose but strewn with thick berries.

Unfamiliar with the marionberry? A proud Oregon native (like Plum Tree's proprietess herself!), the marionberry was born in 1956 of the noble Olallieberry & the Chahalem blackberry. Deep-violet baubles of mid-summer sweetness, they are so true in their berry-ness that you’ll surely be ruined for all others. And so much the better for it. Spread on toast and gobble, or give a jar as a gift to your favorite homesick West-coaster.

Meet the Maker

Plum Tree

Portland, OR
Handcrafted in Portland, Oregon, Plum Tree Jam started with a bumper crop. One summer, in late August, the plum tree in Miranda Rake's mother's backyard gave more fruit then she knew what to do with! She was working at a chocolate shop at the time, learning the art and craft of chocolatier-ing from her friend (and chocolate genius) Elizabeth Montes. She tried her hand at making jam and it grew into a business celebrating the bounty of the Northwest.
