In a fizzy tizzy.

Confession: We get a little bubbly when it comes to these Vintage Seltzer Bottles. But first, a teensy historical tidbit. Soda-water makers appeared in Argentina in the early 1900’s, picking up the bottles from homes & restaurants daily, then filling them up (milkman, make way for seltzerman!) These beauts are originals from pre-1940’s Argentina (yep, they’re the real McCoys—the neck of each bottle is stamped with the date). And although these bottles have retired from dispensing the fizzies, they look great perched on a bar cart or shelf. Talk about a conversation starter.

One bottle included per order. Vintage bottles are decorative and should not be used for food storage.

Meet the Maker

The Seltzer Shop

Cody, WY
THE SELTZER SHOP was created by Russell Johnson Imports in 1997 after a visit to the Sunday Flea Market in San Telmo, one of Buenos Aires' historic neighborhoods. There Russell Johnson came across a family selling a collection of beautiful vintage seltzer bottles from the 1930s. Russell not only bought as many as he could carry, he also bonded with the family and promised to keep in touch. Back in the States, Russell Johnson showed the bottles to a few of his interior design colleagues, and from there, the shop was born.
