Everyone will be green with envy when they spot these luminously green plates shining on your table (not to mention whatever delicious dish is on them). The green color is saturated into the glass itself, through a vintage 1940s technique resurrected by Mosser glass (a family-owned and -operated company) in 1990. The plates are available in sets of 4 in 2 sizes: a 10” dinner plate and an 8” cake plate.
Made in: Cambridge, Ohio
Made of: Flint glass
Size: Cake plates are 8.5" in diameter; Dinner plates are 10.75" in diameter.
I think they are the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I actually mostly use them as serveware, like putting a pie or cake on top of the large plates (which is ironic because I own the jadeite cake stand but have never used it for serving—it is a bookend for my cookbooks).
