Passing the salt was never so easy.

The origin of the lazy Susan is hazy (no one quite remembers who Susan was), but its purpose was clear from the start—to make food and condiments equally available to everyone at the table. This exclusive marble iteration of the time-tested dining table staple is chic enough to leave out on your countertop, with an array of your favorite salts and spices or a flower arrangement, but also functions as the perfect entertaining helper for serving dips or a selection of cheese—with all the benefits of a marble surface.

Because it will stay about 7º F below room temperature, the marble surface is useful for setting out cheeses (no more melty butter or drooping brie), and will also retain heat for keeping foods warm. It’s easy to clean if you tend to spills immediately, and a matte finish makes the surface food photography-friendly (no glares!).
