Vintage Copper Pumpkin Molds, Mid 19th Century (Set of 3)
Vintage Copper Pumpkin Molds, Mid 19th Century (Set of 3)
It's the Great Pumpkin(s)!
This trio of hand-formed pumpkin molds (c. 1850) is very rare since sets are hard to find (especially in such fun shapes!). In polished, pristinely restored copper that’s as close as precious metals get to orange, each mold in the set features an upper and a lower mold that interlock to create whole pumpkin shapes. The potential of things to make in them is limitless, but the molds were once used to make shaped sugars. If that sounds daunting, just imagine how perfect they would be amongst cobwebs and candlelights, strewn across the table at any October dinner. Cute must be the new spooky.
