Vintage Copper French Sauté Pan, Late 19th Century
Vintage Copper French Sauté Pan, Late 19th Century
Heavy-duty beauty.
Nearly ten inches across, this impeccably restored, heavy-gauge copper sauté pan is up for any task your stove can throw at it: Sear or sauté with the lid off, then put the lid on to simmer or braise. The lid features a hand-cut heavy iron triangular flange that anchors the unique handle (true to its circa 1880 prototype), also held with copper rivets. You could hang it up by the loophole on the handle, but it’s such a workhorse you’ll have a hard time freeing it from the stovetop.
All items from Coppermill Kitchen are final sale. Items may vary slightly from what is pictured.
