As big as our appetite.
These statement-sized vintage breadboards were scavenged during our vintage hunter’s travels to Eastern Germany. Originally used for baking loaves of bread, they’re now the ideal platter for a fruit and cheese feast. It can be used as a cutting board—just be sure to wash it first and handle gently (it’s seen a lot of love over the years so it’s delicate and shows signs of wear). Each board is totally unique so it’s a special-to-you piece of rustic charm.
In order to withstand high temperatures without splitting, the pieces of wood are interwoven and constructed without any nails or screws so the board moves together when the wood expands and contracts. This old-school design has helped each board survive over many years!
