Fresh from the Spanish coast.

Since 1920, the Ramón Peña seafood canning factory has been sourcing the highest quality fish and shellfish on the Cantabrian sea, off the Northern coast of Spain. In it’s third generation of family-run business, Ramón Peña has focused on a more selective and prestigious variety (this ain’t your average canned seafood). Everything is canned fresh from the Costa do Marisco (the “shellfish coast” of Spain) in the Atlantic Ocean, ready to grace your spread. Whip it up into an easy appetizer or serve it straight from the pretty packaging.

There’s lots of options here (and—fun fact—they all come from the waters of Galicia, Spain).

  • Squid in Ink Sauce, or Chipirones en su Tinta, are tiny squid poached in seawater and packed in a sauce starring tomato, olive oil, onion, and—yes—their own ink.
  • Sardinillas in Olive Oil are little sardines prepped just hours after harvest for fresher-than-fresh flavor.
  • Sardinillas in Olive Oil with Padrón Peppers call in fried Padrón peppers for a punch of bright flavor.
  • Mussels in Escabeche Marinade are cooked and packed by hand in a vinegar and paprika marinade.
  • Octopus in Olive Oil, or pulpo, is poached in seawater and packed in olive oil—a well-loved combination in the northern region of Galicia.
  • Made in: Ribadumia in Galicia, Spain
  • Product Warranty:
  • Shipping & Returns: Free Standard Shipping on Orders $199+ and Easy-Breezy Returns
