Found: the perfect pan.

We’re inclined to think all of Staub’s pans are perfect, but we’re especially enamored of this enameled cast iron wok-shaped one. It’s just as aces at braising, roasting, and simmering as the Staub pots you know and love, but the pan’s wide, angled, 4.5-quart shape also makes it ideal for large-batch deep frying and vigorous stir-frying without spilling. Between batches, rest your foods on the included stainless steel rack—the oil drips right back into the pan, saving you from the plate–paper towel draining combo. The snug-fitting glass lid keeps moisture (and that all-important flavor) locked in and lets you easily check on your food without disturbing the cooking process. Plus, the cast-iron bottom means the pan works with any heating surface—yep, including you, induction. That’s pretty perfect for us.

When it comes to runway-worthy looks, there's no end to the possibilities here:

The Perfect Pan is available in matte black, blue, grenadine, cherry, and basil with a stainless steel knob, or graphite with a brass knob. (There are even charming animal knobs—yes you read that right—available to swap in for extra flair!)

If you're new to the wow-worthy magic of enameled cast iron, might we suggest a braise to start? Here, you'll find a whole slew of tips for fall-apart tender goodness that'll satisfy year-round, or, if you're looking for something that comes together at lightning-speed on a weeknight, try your hand at a no-fuss stir fry.
