PieBox

Atlanta, GA
When it comes to dessert, PieBox doesn't mess around. They sell just one thing (you guessed it), making them experts at their craft: simply designed wooden boxes, handmade in Chicago, that ensure pies everywhere reach their final destinations unharmed. This takes the emphasis off transporting pies, and puts it on enjoying them. Amen to that.

Cute, but not worth the price.
These boxes are cute but definitely not worth the price. You could easily make them yourself for about 5 dollars. Michael's carries the same wood box for $5.

Love, Love, Love
Ive needed something to not only protect my pies but also to regulate the humidity around them. The Pie Box is the perfect solution. Plastic wrap or foil is messy and neither offers any humidity reduction so the pie lasts longer.

Overpriced for what it is
Looked potentially like a cool present. Gave as a gift to family members who participate in a high-stakes pie making contest every holiday season. Purchased with with the leather strap, in retrospect, probably a bad move as carrying a pie on a strap could potentially spill its contents. Making “two trips” to the car and just carrying it level in your hands probably better move. Its a pretty flimsy weight top on the box and the finish is primitive to the point that splinters are going to be inevitable. Oh well, I tried.
