Product Details

Vintage copper—is there a dreamier sight? Whether it’s a gleaming tea kettle or a well-worn (but well-loved!) gratin dish, copper lends easy, warm elegance to a home, without all the stuffiness. We’ve brought you an assortment of stunning, one-of-a-kind finds from Coppermill Kitchen to add to your collection (you won't find them anywhere else!), exclusive to the Food52 Shop. This c.1850 oval-shaped kettle features a hand-cut pink brass handle with the number "1" stamped into it for its capapcity, the original hand-carved wooden handle, and dovetailed seams up the back side and around the bottom. Stamped to the underside is the orb and cross maker's mark for the Benhamd and Froud. Also stamped to the top of the body is another maker's mark, the trademark "Belt Buckle" that says "Wigemore St London Benham & Sons," which we believe were the iron mongers who might have worked on it at a later date and after Froud.

All items from Coppermill Kitchen are final sale. Items may vary slightly from what is pictured.
