Black and white and soft all over.
This beautifully cross-hatched, handmade trivet was made to take on your most piping-hot stews and roasts. Three layers of insulation protect your surfaces from the heat, a combination of hemp and cotton makes it super-soft yet strong (and lends even more softness with each wash), and the black and white yarn-dyed threads make it a striking addition to your spread. Consider it the MVP of both kitchen and table.

Meet the Maker
Kari, founder of Beautiful Ingredient, found inspiration in an unlikely place: her daughter's lunch box. While packing it one day, she realized how many paper napkins she was wasting over time and set out to create an alternative. Beautiful Ingredient is all about providing high quality, useful handcrafted products that are simply beautiful—sourcing materials that are both people and planet friendly.View Full Profile
