This knife rocks.

Inspired by the traditional ulu knives of the Alaskan Inuit, Yupik, and Aleut tribes, this curved knife can do pretty much anything. Its original uses included tasks like skinning and cleaning fish and meat, chopping vegetables, and cutting children’s hair—and that’s (mostly) what we like to use it for... though especially for dicing, chopping, and mincing (and less for hair-cutting). The unique shape of the blade and the pale maple handle make a striking addition to any kitchen knife collection.

R. Murphy Knives

Ayer, MA
Since the 1850s, generations of Murphy men have assured us that an overworked all-purpose chef’s knife just won’t cut it. Not when there are quality carbon steel knives out there for nearly every purpose. And we don’t even have to go abroad for these beauties: R. Murphy knives are made in Massachusetts.
