Vintage Copper X-Large French Paris Stockpot, Late 19th Century
A little intrigue
Vintage copper lends an easy, warm elegance to any home without all the stuffiness. This stunning collection of one-of-a-kind finds from Coppermill Kitchen has been well-loved for generations, and now you can only get it here at Food52. An exceptionally large and bold pot, crafted circa 1880, it can cook or freeze leftovers thanks to its 2mm thickness. Its design also features handcut, thick brass handles as well as dovetailed seams around the underside and up one side. Stamped to the pan is what is believed to be a Dutch mark, "ED VAN DE WOESTLINE GAND," however, the pot is French-made. It's a true vintage mystery.
