Vintage Copper Georgian Tea Kettle, Large, Mid 19th Century
You’ll take a shine to it.
Vintage copper lends an easy, warm elegance to any home without all the stuffiness. This stunning collection of one-of-a-kind finds from Coppermill Kitchen has been well-loved for generations, and now you can only get it here at Food52.
Crafted circa 1850, a kettle this one-of-a-kind and intricately detailed is no ordinary find. Spacious enough to serve tea to a crowd, it’s also got a gooseneck spout and the original copper flap on the end to let steam escape. Notice too the hand-cut flanges on the handle so it can swing back and forth, making it easy to remove the lid to add water or tea sachets.
