Never us the lid that came with the pots agai
I bought a set of rather expensive French pots and the lids are useless. The lid handel gets just as hot as the pot! I use a towel when I remember but if I forget we'll there's a hefty price to pay. I ran across these lids looking for something else and boy oh boy am I happy I did. These tops are universal and you have one to fit just about any size pot. And the best part is no more burnt fingers. Yes the stainless steel tops look nice but I'd rather keep my fingerprints in tact and these top are rather cute also.
