Please note: These are made especially for a pellet grill, also known as an offset smoker or pellet smoker. If charcoal is your thing, there’s a special way to use ‘em: Wait until your coals are a hot, even temperature and totally covered in white ash, then sprinkle the wood pellets on top. (You’ll want to use enough to create a thin layer over the charcoal.) As soon as the pellets ignite and start smoking, you’re good to start cooking your meat.
