The hot new hot sauce.

One of the most popular Korean pantry staples, this hot pepper paste has changed how we cook. It's a spicy fermented condiment made from chiles -- we think it'll rival Sriracha in hot sauce popularity. Use it as you would use tomato paste in cooking, sauces, or sandwiches for a hit of umami. It's made using traditional methods with no high fructose sweeteners or MSG. Mother-in-Law's Kimchi makes their gochujang in four versions, so you'll get a pack of 4 jars (one of each of the following):

Gochujang Fermented Chile Paste 00: The original, signature version -- which comes from the Korean word for chile (gochu) and fermented paste (jang).

Gochujang Fermented Chile+ Vinegar 01: A tangy flavor combination of vinegar and fermented chile paste.

Gochujang Fermented Chile+ Sesame 02: This rich, nutty sauce takes center stage with a combination of sesame seeds, peanuts, and fermented chile paste.

Gochujang Fermented Chile + Garlic 03: This classic sauce of garlic, ginger and fermented chile paste is complex with a layered, lingering spice. Delicious on everything.

After years of sneaking homemade kimchi in her luggage from her mom's California restaurant to her friends in New York, Lauryn Chun decided it was time for a change. She founded Mother-in-Law's Kimchi, using artisanal techniques and high-quality ingredients to make some of the best kimchi around.
