Vintage French Stoneware Prep Dishes (Set of 3)
Vintage French Stoneware Prep Dishes (Set of 3)
Mise en place.
Good things come in threes—at least when it comes to these can-do prep dishes. Chock-full of vintage charm, they hail from a collection that got its start way back in 1847, when Stanislas Renault first opened his workshop in Argent-sur-Sauldre, France. Lucky us for snagging these helpful bowls just for you (they’re safe for the dishwasher and freezer, thank goodness). Use ‘em to measure out your ingredients before you go to town, to hold condiments on the table for taco night, or to display on the countertop. Whatever you decide, you’ve got a little French history in your hands.
Wait till you hear the story behind this rare collection: It goes back to 1847, when Stanislas Renault first opened his workshop in Argent-sur-Sauldre, France. One move and 173 years later, the Poterie Renault business had stayed in the family for five generations, continuing to handcraft iconic stoneware from French clay (and even fire it all in the original kiln). Sadly, they’re closing their doors—but not before we were able to snap up a treasure trove of vintage pieces. We brought them here just for you, and they’re available exclusively at our Shop.
