For the love of pizza.
We never thought we’d see the words “pizzeria” and “candle” right next to each other, but here we are and oh, are we pleased. These hand-poured lovelies came to be thanks to a collaboration with chef Mark Iacono—founder of Lucali, a Brooklyn institution in Carroll Gardens that’s famous for its thin-crust pies. There are four scents here, each one inspired by Mark’s legendary pizzeria. (It’s the garlic one for us.)
Aglio (Roasted Garlic) smells, well, like fresh minced garlic that’s been sautéed in olive oil to caramelized perfection.
Al Forno (Brick Oven) will take you straight to your local brick-oven pizzeria, thanks to notes of citron, amber, smoked birch, patchouli, and sugarcane.
Caffè Corretto (Spiked Espresso) is inspired by the classic Italian drink. It’s got hints of star anise, cinnamon bark, espresso, vanilla bean, and whipped caramel.
Erbe E Aromi (Herbs) is all about pizza’s favorite herbs (we’re talking basil, heirloom tomato, oregano, rosemary, and thyme). This one’s fresh and green.
