I just made the Smokey Quinoa and Black Beans dish and it was absolutely wonderfull!! It will be a regular item on our menu at home now.

I would like to try the sweet/spicy roasted pecans but the recipe only mentions the sugar and paprika and not the other spices/seasonings in the list. Was something left out in the instructions?

i have a question regarding the braised short rib recipe. the recipe calls for "4 short ribs". does it literally mean 4 square pieces of short ribs? or 4 lbs of short ribs? i want to try the recipe, but it just seems like that's a lot of beef/veal stock for just 4 pieces of ribs.

My apologies AJ/Antonia (Helen?) that I didn't make the connection!! Huge congrats to you, too!!! (um, now you're cover really IS blown, eh?)

I have to maintain a separate identity here for a couple of different reasons having to do with my being a lawyer with my own law practice, and a well established internet presence . . . . . and there were a bunch of Helens active here when I joined last year. Glad to hear you'll be posting here more. But also glad to have found that Sesame Noodle recipe. Yummmm.;o)

I am honored you chose my Prosciutto-Wrapped Asparagus! I cannot wait to share more recipes with everyone!

If you google prosciutto wrapped asparagus you will see that Giada De Laurentis has exactly the same recipe.

Food52 October 7, 2010
This recipe differs from Giada's in a number of ways -- different roasting temperature and amounts of olive oil & prosciutto, and instructions that are clearly written in April's own words, along with extra helpful tips. Though this is a classic Italian dish, we felt that April's was an excellent version.
