Love to entertain (or just wish you did it more often)? Join our Burnt Toast Dinner Brigade to get our tips, perks, and surprises to up your hosting game.

Food52 Dinner Brigade

It's Thursday afternoon, you've been eating fried eggs for dinner all week, and you're ready to do something—sound familiar? All you have to do is throw a party (we mean it!). We firmly believe in not letting life—or nerves—get in the way of calling up friends to come break bread, drink cocktails, and be merry. But we know it can be intimidating—and that's what we're here for!

Shop the Story

Food52 Dinner brigadePosie Harwood's gorgeous outdoor table setting put a whole new spin on farm-to-table.

Enter: The Burnt Toast Dinner Brigade, a movement for better, more carefree entertaining that we're inviting you to join. Our monthly brigade newsletter will be full of tips and special perks for entertaining, from playlists to exclusive Shop offers and beyond. We'll be on the lookout for your best party pictures tagged with #f52brigade—whether you’re prepping produce or clinking glasses—and sharing our favorites to inspire others to put on their entertaining hats (so make those shots count!).

The fast track to a Food52-style soirée? The Dinner Brigade Party-in-a-Box.

To make things even easier (and, hey, prettier), we're also launching the Dinner Brigade's first-ever Party-in-a-Box, available exclusively in our Shop (there's a very limited number, so grab one up fast!). Tucked into every box, you'll get a pretty tabletop kit for summer parties (all for 10% off) and our first-ever Burnt Toast Dinner Brigade Field Guide, a booklet of menu ideas, recipes, and styling tips for pulling off a smashing party—we'll include enough copies for you and all of your guests. All that's left is to swing by the grocery store and wrangle your friends.

One more thing! We've partnered with Paperless Post to bring you a hand-picked selection of email invites. Find your favorite here as soon as your guest list is ready.

We left plenty of room for you to make the party your own, but for a little more inspiration, check out how some of our favorite bloggers and writers threw a #f52brigade party using the supplies from the Party-in-a-Box.

So let's get cooking! Join our Burnt Toast Dinner Brigade here and pick up the (very) limited edition Summer Party-in-a-Box in the Shop.

assuming one already possesses pitchers, napkins and salt dispensers in abundance. as one might if one is over the age of, say 30, $100 seems like a lot for a party plan. Also, your link is dead.

If you're not interested in anything new for your table, but you like the idea of the Brigade, you can still sign up for the monthly email of entertaining tips and perks. Thank you for letting us know about the broken link at the bottom of the page—I just corrected it.

I agree about the price...$100 does seem a bit much for a trial run. I think I'll hold out until the first lot goes and see how everything turns out first.
