We're pleased to announce Sadassa_Ulna as our winning foodpickler this week, based on her originality, thoughtfulness and enthusiasm in saving her food comrades in need. She has won a Professional Digital 9-Speed Hand Mixer in Red from Viking  (pictured above).

Congratulations and thanks to everyone who's been participating over at Foodpickle -- we've been having so much fun seeing your excellent questions and answers pour in.

I always love to see what you have to say. Congratulations.
It's wonderful how supportive this community is -- and as sloppy as that word has become, here it is true.

Thanks to everyone, it's comforting to know I'm not the only one addicted to food52! I will put the mixer to good use for sure!

That mixer is GORGEOUS. I know now that as much as I love shoes, I am way more addicted to cooking utensils.

Congrats Sadassa_Ulna! I think we're all in the right place...My five year old daughter has drawn a picture of me sitting at the computer "doing food52 stuff." Happy mixing!

Well deserved. Also, I like the way the cord retracts into the mixer. Spiffy design.

I am so excited I can't even express! I discovered food52 in September and became so addicted (just ask my children). It's funny how much this website has inspired me in my kitchen. The weekly contests get me to experiment (again, just ask my kids) and the foodpicklers prove there are many ways to approach a pickle. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Also, that mixer is so cute it should be a children's book, thank you!

Your post made me laugh, as I completely recognize myself in what you are saying. My brother and husband think I need to join a 12-step program for my food52 addiction.

When you announce the winners - it would also be very helpful / interesting to see the Foodpickler question that they answered so well.

This is from your friendly editors at Food52.

The award is actually based on helpful responses over the course of the week -- but you're right, that would be very interesting!

I agree! Half the time, the winners are someone I haven't especially noticed, which is great, because it reminds me that as many times as I look at Foodpickle, I don't come close to seeing it all. It would be nice to be able search out Sadassa_Ulna's body of advice.
