Whenever I hear the term "raw food," it seems like it will be unappealing. But raw food recipe developers are a crafty lot, and what they come up with is often so spot-on, so seasonally linked, that the food ends up sounding like perfection. Take raw tomato-basil soup; a great example. Cooking it would just mute the flavors. The very last-of-the-season tomatoes and basil are just breathing their last, so there is still time to put this together.
