Recipes from the Road: Tuna Confit

August 26, 2011

Tuna Confit  Tuna Confit

Every week, chef/activist Daniel Klein and cameragirl Mirra Fine of The Perennial Plate are sharing the videos and recipes from their cross-country real food road trip with us.

For this dispatch, Daniel and Mirra take a trip to a farm for a dinner with a group of kids who are putting their summer off to practical use. The teenagers of Janus Food Works work the fields and sell their produce. Kids who get paid to farm? Now that's a good thing on so many levels. And -- it's about time.
